Greengage is a company that provides deep analysis and control via sensors for chicken farms. You would be surprised just how much goes into this to ensure a healthy crop and the economics involved. Everything down to when certain colour lights come on for how long and how much humidity is in the sheds etc…
Greengage initially came to me with a heavily over engineered platform that was built by some other developers. I was tasked with expanding on this platform to get it to a point, before we start from scratch and build it properly from the ground up.
We did exactly that and now we have released version 1.0 of the new platform and are currently working on rapidly expanding it.
I work along side some very talented hardware engineers and we on working on ground breaking tech, such as being able to weigh chickens using 3d cameras and AI, saving farmers massive amounts of time and money!
This is certainly one of my more unique projects!
