The Giveaway Guys came to me with a problem that needed solving. They were using Shopify for their website and were processing tickets manually with spreadsheets in order to pick the winners on their live streams. This was a massively time intensive task that was only getting worse as they grew.
They needed a more automated system, but didn’t want to move away from using Shopify. So I built a system in Laravel that integrated with the Shopify API to automatically assign tickets to customers and allow the winner to be searched and assigned on winning.
I also built a control panel for this, which allows the owner to maintain these lists as needed.
This new system has completely automated the whole process for my client and allowed them to spend their time growing their company further.
