McCourt Photography

In addition to being a professional web developer, I have a passion for photography, particularly wedding photography. Combining these skills, I designed and built McCourt Photography from the ground up using WordPress and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create a dynamic and visually appealing portfolio site. This project showcases not only my technical expertise in web development but also my creative eye for capturing special moments. I built this site completely from the ground up with performance in mind. No themes with hundreds of plugins!. I’m particularly proud of the 400-500ms load time, especially considering the amount of large images on the site. My site is significantly faster than any other wedding photographers website that I have come across!

I achieved this using lightweight code, webp image formats, super fast servers and building where it makes sense instead of throwing plugins at everything!
