Gift Experience Scotland was Scotland’s leading experience gifting company, based in Edinburgh. They came to me with the need to update their old tired design.
I worked directly with the director of the company to come up with a fresh design, which kept a familiar feel from the old site but brought it into the 21st century.
This project was particularly tricky because they had a hacked together WordPress website with lots of custom code to support the bespoke e-commerce system because of the unique way they handled ticketing. I not only cleaned up a lot of the legacy code but completely revamped the website with the new design, which totally modernized the website.
Unfortunately, Gift Experience Scotland went into liquidation, but this website remains to be a great addition to my portfolio.
